Municipal Art Acquisitions, Amsterdam 2022 longlist
Dear Cristina García Elizondo,
Thank you for your submission to the open call for the 2022 Municipal Art Acquisitions at the
Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. We received a large number of high-quality submissions (756 in total),
and after a careful review, we hereby inform you that your application made it to the next round and
is part of the longlist. The longlisted applications are being reviewed by an international jury: Aric
Chen (director HNI), Roos Gortzak (director De Vleeshal), Prince Malik Jewiti-R (co-founder
Artskop347), Aude Christel Mgba (freelance curator, Sonsbeek 2020-2024) and Stedelijk Museum
curators Amanda Pinatih and Britte Sloothaak.
We will interview a small number of applicants for whom we have additional questions. If you haven’t
received an invitation for the jury days, we want to ask for your patience. Further information will be
provided during the upcoming weeks, the definitive selection will be made before the end of
January.
